Pigtails

Yes, this is a sad attempt but I have long awaited the day I could fix my daughters' hair all cute. Caitlyn sat perfectly still and let me put pigtails in her hair the other day. I thought it looked pretty cute but it lasted all of five minutes before she pulled it out. They won't leave anything I put in their hair right now.....I have to work on these girls!

Tubes are done!

The girls all got their tubes put in yesterday morning and they did great. The procedures were very short and they were just a little groggy afterward. They came home and ate pancakes and then took an extra long nap. They were back to normal by the afternoon. I hope that we are done with ear infections!

Here are some pics of the girls playing this afternoon at The Children's Museum. They are all walking now too! Caitlyn decided she was ready on Tuesday. She took her first steps a few weeks ago but then she never walked much after that. Now she can get up off the floor on her own and can walk a pretty far distance.

Addyson walking and tubes for all!

Addyson is really getting around these days. She walks everywhere and it is so cute because she takes the tiniest little steps. Here is a pic I took of her last week. I need to get a better one because my hand is in the shot and now she doesn't need any help at all. She just gets up and goes!

We took all of the girls to the ENT yesterday. We have decided that they are all going to get tubes in their ears. The procedures will be done next Wednesday. I am a little nervous but I know it is going to make them feel so much better. They all had ear infections yesterday and Brooklyn had a busted ear drum. Tomorrow we go for their fifteen-month checkup so I will post their new stats. They were fifteen months yesterday. With all of the drama, I totally forgot....Happy 15 months girlies!

Adventures in Babysitting

Brian's cousin Kelly and her husband Matt were sweet enough to keep the girls last nite while we went to a wedding. They fed them dinner and then played with them until bedtime.

Matt and Kelly have joined the Peace Corp and will be stationed in Fiji starting this May. We are going to miss them SOOOO much! Thank you guys!

My poor Caitlyn

My poor Caitlyn has been battling a double ear infection for weeks. We have gone through two rounds of different antiobiotics. The past week she has been pretty fussy and then this morning she woke up with a high fever. I took her back to the doctor and sure enough, no change. The doctor said our last resort was a series of shots of a super powerful antiobiotic. The shots have to be given daily for three days. The dose is so strong that they have to split it into two doses so she had to get a shot in each leg. It also had lidocaine in it to help numb her legs but that made it sting even worse going in. It was very hard for mommy to watch! So we are going back Sunday and Monday to get four more shots and then going to see the ENT. It looks like she will be needing tubes. Please keep Caitlyn in your prayers. She has been such a trooper and still manages to smile!

Aggie Baseball

Since the girls were already off schedule yesterday with daylight savings time, we decided to fore go their afternoon nap and took them to their first Aggie baseball game. The girls weren't much into the game but they loved being outside and watching all the people. We managed to stay for five innings. Afterwords, we took the girls to get ice cream and then went over to Dodie and Pee Wee's to play for a little while. Needless to say, the girls were exhausted but we had a great day!

We're In!

As most of you know, I have been stressing about trying to get the girls into the Mother's Day Out program at our church for next fall. There are only 10 kids in the class so we would take up almost a third! They had registration this week and we are in! I am so relieved and excited for the girls. I think it will be great for them to be around other kids and hopefully learn a few things too! One of their teachers has quad girls so she has lots of experience with multiples!

I will post some new pics of the girls soon. The race is on between Addyson and Caitlyn to see who will walk first. I don't think either one of them is in much of a hurry as they can get where they want to go just fine. But they are both taking a few steps here and there.
