JOY

Having three almost two-year olds can be quite challenging.  There are some days that I want to pull my hair out, but then moments like this happen and put it all into perspective....I wouldn't change a thing!

I walked into the kitchen this morning to find this:

The girls were doing ring-around-the-rosie and just laughing and laughing.  It made my heart melt!

My cup runneth over for these three girls!!!

Comings and Goings

Ok, I must admit that I have not been a very good blogger.  My camera has not seen the light of day in a week or two, which is a rarity.  So I thought I would do a little catch up post.  Mainly for me to record all that has been going on.  The girls are on their fourth week of preschool and doing great.  After the first week, we had a few times that they would cry or try and hang on to me but last week and today, they have been good with drop off.  Their teacher told me that they are not supposed to have favorites, but she just loves my girls!  We also started Kindermusik again last week and the girls had a great time singing and dancing with their new class.

The past two weeks, Dodie and Pee Wee were nice enough to let each of the girls have a turn at spending the night with them.  Brooklyn's date with mommy and daddy was the only one I got pictures of.  We took her to Chickfila for dinner and then let her play outside and take a bath all by herself.  This girl LOVES her bath!  I think she enjoyed the one-on-one time the most.  She had a huge smile on her face the whole night.  (I'm sure she missed her sisters though :))

Here are a few pics from Brooklyn's night and a picture of Addyson trying out the plasma car at Dodie's house when she spent the night.

Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes

The girls are getting really good at naming their body parts.  This video is horrible quality but of course I think its cute.  Please excuse my horrible voice!

M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E

Friday afternoon we took the girls to Disney Live. We had told them all day that they were going to see Mickey and they were super excited! The girls never miss a morning of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Little did I know that we were going to have to sit through the first thirty minutes of the show before we even saw a glimpse of Mickey. They weren't real thrilled about that part but once Mickey came out they loved it. I think Caitlyn definitely enjoyed it the most. She stood up and danced the whole time! I didn't get very good pictures but I will share them anyway.

Ranch Girls

One of my favorite things to do at the ranch is sit and rock on the back porch. It is very relaxing to just sit and take in the view.  The girls decided that they liked to do this too, except they would rather rock in the big people chairs than their little ones!

We took them for a ride on the new Ranger and it was so nice to have room for everyone! Brooklyn sat in the front with daddy and Addyson, Caitlyn, and I sat in the back.

Addyson was not too happy about having to wear a seatbelt!

Brooklyn helped daddy sweep off the carport so the girls could play with their trucks. Can you tell she's a little bit of a daddy's girl???

Play Date

Yesterday we had a play date with our friend Whitney.   Carrie and I took the girls to the park and had a picnic then let them run around and play.  The weather was perfect and all the girls had a great time!   Here are some pictures I took of our fun morning.

First Day of School

The girls started preschool this morning at our church.  They did great!  They are in the toddler class and have two wonderful teachers, Mrs. Cathy and Mrs. Carley.  Mrs. Cathy has quad girls so I know that they are in good hands!

Brooklyn was the most excited about going.  As soon as she got up this morning and saw her backpack she wanted to put it on and wear it all around the house.  She was also the most reluctant to let mommy leave.  She didn't cry much and as soon as the teacher distracted her with a toy she was fine. Addyson and Caitlyn could have cared less!  It is nice knowing that they have each other if they get overwhelmed.  It was hard for me to leave them and I did shed a few tears walking back to the car.  But I know they will have a great year and it is a nice break for me!  It just reminds me once again how fast they are growing up!  I am so proud of them!
