Big Girls

The girls have new "big girl" car seats. This afternoon we unloaded them out of the boxes and got them all ready to put into the babymobile. We had the girls try them out before we installed them. I think they really like them and will love having more room on their rides. Their carriers were starting to get quite heavy and pretty cramped!

We sure have come a long way! These are some pics of the girls when we brought them home from the hospital six and half months ago and they rode in their infant carriers for the first time. The girls were so small, their carriers seemed to swallow them. We never thought they would outgrow them!

Its what we do best!

Saturday I got the girls dressed up in new outfits Nana had sent them and new headbands I ordered for them and they went to their first birthday party for their friend Whitney. They had a great time!

Big thanks to the girls at Sweet Daisy Bowtique! We love the headbands!

They didn't get to eat any cake but they did have lunch and got to have their own personal feeder. Its not too often that happens! Thanks Denise!


Brooklyn even got to try out some of Whitney's toys!


It makes me sad because it won't be too much longer and we will be doing this for the girls!

Ready, Set....Crawl!

The race is on and it looks like it won't be long before my little babies will be crawling everywhere. Today Brooklyn got up on her hands and knees and was rocking back and forth. She was quite proud of herself! Addyson is scooting herself around and is slowly getting her knees up under her. Caitlyn seems quite content to roll if she needs to get anywhere but I am sure once her sisters are going she will soon follow. I am really excited to see the girls growing and developing but not sure if I know what I am really in for once they are mobile!

Happy Birthday to Whitney!

We wanted to wish our friend Whitney a very happy birthday. We hope you have a great day and are extra nice to your mommy because she may be a little emotional. We can't wait for your party on Saturday!

Another benefit about having triplets......

You get out of speeding tickets!

This morning we took the girls to get their pictures taken. After a wardrobe change and lots of flashes and posing trying to get the "perfect shot" the girls had had enough. They were ready for a nap. So we loaded up and headed home. Who knew that the speed limit on Southwest Parkway was 35? So here come the lights. I was going 42 in a 35. The officer walked up to the car and explained to me that the speedlimit was 35 and I was speeding. There is some faint crying coming from the back seat. He then slowly glances to the backseat and sees the three carseats. He looks back at me with a poor you look and says "I am going to give you a warning." Phew!

Many people cringe at the thought of three babies, but I have always thought that I am blessed three times over. Having triplets has many benefits and this is just another one to add to my list!

Playing with Cousins

Last week the girls got to play with their cousins Lainie and Rachel. They spent the night with us Wednesday night and helped me with the girls on Thursday and Friday. It was such a treat to have them here! They were a huge help with the girls and the girls loved playing with them. Lainie and Rachel, you are welcome to come back anytime!
